Spiritual Survival Class

Are you inconsistent in studying God's Word? Are you questioning if your spiritual gift is important? Are you stagnant in traditions?  Come, let's study together spiritual survival techniques.  We will begin our 6-weeks survival tactics training, Wednesdays, October 6^th - November 10^th.   Hurry and sign up! There are only 12 training positions available.                 

"Making Strides Against Cancer" Walk

Men, women and children are invited to join Mt. Zion’s Women of Worship’s team for the 2010 “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk on Saturday, October 2^nd, at 9:00am at North Hills Shopping Center in Raleigh. This is a fun and healthy way to honor breast cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and to raise funds and awareness to help end this disease. Contact Sis. Karen Gray for more information.

Women of Worship's Movie Night

Please join Mt. Zion’s Women of Worship for a night at the movies on Friday, August 27^th, at 7:00pm. Come join us as we take a look into the life of Michael Oher, whose presence in the lives of the Touhy family leads them to some insightful self-discoveries in “The Blind Side.”  Refreshments will be provided.

Couples' Ministry Cruise

Attention, MZ Couples:  Get a “Couple’s Recharge”!!!!  Come sail with us August 14, 2010 on the Spirit of Norfolk!  The Couple’s Ministry invites married couples of Mt. Zion to come cruise with us for a day of fun and fellowship in Norfolk, VA on the Spirit of Norfolk.  The Spirit of Norfolk is a dinner cruise boat that maintains a vibrant setting enhanced by dazzling city sights and harbor attractions. This will be a day filled with fellowship, festive cuisine, an interactive DJ, live performances, dancing, and couple enjoyment. 
Cost per Couple:$125.00 (Includes transportation for (2) to and from Cary, NC & Spirit of Norfolk tickets for (2). Sign up at the Couple's table near the Welcome Center.

Special New Member Orientation Class

Schedule preventing you from finishing New Member Orientation?  Join us on Saturday, August 7th, and take the entire course at one time.  Class will run from 8:00am-11:30am with breakfast provided.  Space is limited. Sign up on the website.  Contact Sis. LaDonna Bethea for more details.

Aids Caregiver Kit Assembly

Attention: Teens, Ages 13-18! On Friday, July 30th, Youth groups from First United and White Plains United Methodist Churches will be helping us impact the world as our Youth Ministry hosts an AIDS Caregiver Kit Assembly event from 9:00am - 4:30pm.  All teens should sign up outside of Classroom 4.

Outreach to Helen Wright Center

Deliverance Ministry Meetings Update

The Deliverance Ministry will change its meeting time from every Tuesday to every other Tuesday, beginning Tuesday, July 20^th.  We will meet from 6:00-8:00pm.

Girls' Ministry Activity

The Girls’ Ministry invites all young ladies ages 9 to 17 to a scavenger hunt with fun and games on Saturday, August 7^th, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Historic Oak View Park. Please sign up on the website.
