Purpose

The purpose of the Youth Parent Network is to serve as a support system to the Youth Ministry and parents of Mt. Zion by being a liaison between youth leaders and parents, keeping youth leaders informed of topics parents would like youth leaders to discuss with teens, securing volunteers, donations, and supplies for youth ministry events, organizing fellowship events for teens, and informing youth ministry and parents of community service and educational opportunities for teens. 

Mission Statement

The Youth Parent Network will strengthen and build parent and teen participation in the Youth Ministry. 

Alignment with Church Vision

As parental and youth participation in the biblical teachings, worship, fellowship, and service opportunities sponsored by the Youth Ministry increases, families will be strengthened, teens will have stronger relationships with God, discipleship will occur, and teens will feel more invested in their community all of which support the vision of the church.
