Purpose

The Transportation Ministry is committed to supporting the needs of church ministries with respect to transportation and logistics. This ministry is responsible for assuring the availability and condition of the two vans owned by Mt Zion and coordinating where possible the development of relationships among members who might accommodate the needs of others living in proximity of them.

Persons interested in utilizing the Transportation Ministry should contact the church secretary regarding the time frame in which they are interested responding to the matters that might be required in order to use one of the vehicles. They should advise whether or not they need a driver in sufficient time to allow scheduling of one. Keep in mind that frequently servicing and or fueling may be required in order for the ministry to accommodate their request. The ministry or person requesting the service assumes full responsibility for acquiring parental approvals/permissions for minors. For members wishing to drive a vehicle they must produce evidence of a NC Drivers License.
