Mt. Zion Family and Friends,

We are thankful to God for allowing us to see a new year.  This year, we want to reignite our passion for the church's vision!  Simply put, our vision is "Worship Christ, Spread the Gospel, Serve the Community".  This is what Mt. Zion is all about.  Everything we do should be tied into the vision.  Worship is an integral part of the life of this church.  We will glorify Christ in all of our activities.  We are commissioned as Christ's ambassadors to spread the Gospel.  It is our passion to reach beyond our four walls to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are lost and without hope.  We will be a serving church. We will put our faith into action and use our God-given gifts to serve one another within the church and those who are in need outside of the church. When we serve our community to meet the physical needs of those hurting, God will give us the opportunity to share the Gospel.

Our theme for 2010 is "IMPACT the World".

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father." (John 14:12)

 

Because Jesus has ascended back into Heaven, He has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within all who have placed their faith in Him.  What a privilege!  We have the God of the Universe dwelling within us!  The Holy Spirit is the One who gives us power to be witnesses and ambassadors for Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit empowers us to do even greater works than Jesus did when He was on the Earth.  We can IMPACT the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

There is a world of opportunity available to fulfill our vision and impact the world.  The vision has a great need for willing servants.  Will you answer the call?  Will you serve with us?  Let's come together to IMPACT the world for Jesus Christ!
